Overview

Are you a highly organized and detail-oriented professional with a knack for managing installation projects? Walter Danley Electrical & Generators is looking for an Install Coordinator to oversee the scheduling, permitting, and coordination of residential electrical and generator installations. This role requires strong communication, problem-solving skills, and the ability to keep projects on track from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and coordinate all aspects of generator installation project management, ensuring smooth execution and timely completion.
  • Manage multi-trade permitting for electrical, generator, HVAC, and plumbing installations, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
  • Prepare, submit, and track gas applications, electrical and construction permits, and required surveys to maintain workflow efficiency.
  • Organize and compile installation packages, including approved permits, HOA applications, riser diagrams, and site surveys.
  • Schedule and coordinate pressure tests, inspections, return work, system startups, and final reviews to ensure compliance and quality.
  • Maintain and update customer, job, and sales data in ServiceTitan, ensuring real-time accuracy for project readiness and scheduling.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing job scheduling details, worksite preparation guidance (e.g., barrel lock removals, electrical disconnects and reconnects), troubleshooting, and handling escalations.
  • Review sales invoices to verify documentation, pricing accuracy, and proper categorization in ServiceTitan.
  • Manage final inspection failures, ensuring proper communication with relevant teams and rescheduling as needed.
  • Work closely with internal service, trade, and general managers to align installation coordination efforts and resolve challenges.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience in installation coordination, scheduling, or project management within the home services industry.
  • Strong understanding of permitting, inspections, and multi-trade coordination.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in ServiceTitan or similar workflow management software.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail and efficiency.
